Job Description:


Individuals are responsible for processing mortgage loan applications in compliance with mortgage lending and applicable investor guidelines. You will perform duties such as analyzing the loan application and disclosures, the borrower(s) credit, and supporting documents. You will work with sales managers and loan officers to submit loans for AUS findings and various lender’s underwriting approvals.  

A mortgage loan processor is responsible for upholding the company’s commitment to making the loan process simple, close quickly, and be aligned with the homeowner’s long-term financial goals.  You are responsible for managing the proper expectations with the client, referral source, and the sales staff from application through closing.

Skills and Experience:


Qualified individuals must be successful, self-motivated, ethical, and experienced in processing residential mortgages. This includes:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of conventional, government, (FHA/VA/USDA), jumbo, and non-qm loan programs.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of state and federal real estate lending regulations.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of loan processing software and AUS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates keen attention to detail, excellent at multi-tasking, and working in a fast-paced team-focused environment.
  • Ability to handle detailed assignments and maintain confidentiality.





  • You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of loans throughout the entire loan process from application through closing. 
  • Obtain and evaluate required financial data and loan documentation in order to submit complete loan packages to Underwriting for fast approvals.
  • Order and review supporting documentation, such as appraisals, title, payoffs, verifications of employment and deposits, etc.
  • Communicate and provide excellent customer service to the borrower, loan officer, vendors, lender, and if applicable the realtor(s)/referral party.
  • Review files for completeness prior to submission to Underwriting.
  • Obtains documentation needed to clear conditions.
  • Prioritize workflow so loans close on time. 
  • Coordinate closing with all interested parties.
  • Records data on the status of loans, including the number of new loan applications, loans approved, canceled or denied.
